This project born from an investigation with “forms” and its various combinations, and it was followed and guided by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos.

 

This investigation took to a form, and from this form has developed the project.

 

The choice of the localization for the project born from the desire to recreate an “isolated” living space in which you can freely enjoy landscapes, sunsets and the smell of salsa that the island offers.

 

The chosen island, Pantelleria, has a well-defined architectural character, the typical constructions of the island, I dammusi, are the result of the Arab civilization and the work of the farmers.

The architectural features of this typical house are arched shapes and elements of local stone, which has been tried to recover in this project, surrounding the new building with a wall that resembles the dammuso’s arches and guarantees privacy in the house.
