This project, born from a collaboration with architect Dimitri Ticconi, required the elaboration of a preliminary study of the church, necessary for a better understanding of the composition and historical events that damaged it. 

 

This study was about the materials, stylistic comparisons, historical and proportional researches, in order to draw up a recovery plan for the church.

 

The project included an intervention for structural reinforcement, because of the many earthquakes that struck the building; the complete restoration of surfaces; and the re-functioning of the church.

 

It will be transformed into a conference room at the service of the administration and will be equipped with a new lighting system that would give prominence to architectural elements, a new floor, for the integration of heating systems.
